Erdé 143 trailer for sale

We no longer need our Erdé 143 trailer, which comes complete with a lockable watertight cover. The trailer itself measures 1.45 m long by 1 m wide (4 ft 9 in by 3 ft 3 in), and is 2.23 m (7 ft 3 in) long including the drawbar, which means that it doesn't need a permit if you want to take things to the recycling centre. It can tip, and has a removable drop-down tailgate. Its 500 kg load capacity is more than enough for a bulk load of mushroom compost, topsoil or firewood.
The cover hinges at the front, and has a gas strut support to hold it up. It can also be taken off when not needed.
The trailer is made from galvanised metal, is in good mechanical condition and has just had two new tyres fitted. There is also a spare wheel, and a bracket for holding it in place. The coupling has a key-operated security lock to prevent the trailer being lifted off the towing ball. It is fully equipped with road lights and a standard seven-pin connector plug.
Bought new, the trailer, cover and spare wheel would cost around £850. The whole lot can be yours for just £400.
