GWP Consultants is an independent consultancy partnership working in sustainable mineral, water and waste management in the UK and overseas. GWP is based in Charlbury, Oxfordshire and has the following position vacant.
A Surveyor is required to undertake surveys of active and proposed mineral sites, including preparation of three dimensional computer models using LSS (Land Survey System), plans and drawings for geological, geotechnical and quarry / mine design purposes.
The ideal applicant will have a good honours degree in surveying, applied geography or similar discipline and be keen to pursue a career in technical surveying.
Experience in surveying, LSS modelling software and AutoCAD would be an advantage but suitable training will be provided.
This post will involve extensive travel, mainly in the UK. A clean driving licence and ownership of a reliable vehicle is essential.
